What Ongoing WMS does
Ongoing WMS is the cloud warehouse management system behind our operation. It stores inventory, manages orders through picking and packing, arranges shipping and records returns back into stock. Its reports update in real time, showing what you have and the progress of each order.
What BaseLinker does
BaseLinker brings e-commerce platforms, marketplaces and couriers into one interface. Orders from all your channels arrive in one place instead of five, so nobody has to copy them between systems manually.
What the two do together
Five things change once the connection is live.
Orders synchronise automatically. Each channel connected to BaseLinker sends orders into Ongoing WMS without retyping, removing the errors caused by manual entry.
Stock counts remain aligned. Ongoing WMS sends changing inventory levels to BaseLinker, so your channels use the same figure as the warehouse. This prevents you from selling stock that is no longer available.
Fulfilment begins automatically. Orders received through BaseLinker go directly into the pick queue, ready to be packed and dispatched without someone moving them between systems.
You can choose between carriers. BaseLinker connects with a long list of couriers, while Ongoing WMS uses those connections to print labels, track parcels and manage returns. You are not tied to one carrier, which matters more in Italy than in most places.
Both systems provide reports. You can monitor order processing times, stock turnover and shipping costs, then see where the money and delays actually are.
