PrestaShop fulfilment in Italy
PrestaShop is strong across Southern Europe, so many stores already sell into Italy from a warehouse somewhere else. Since the EU removed the €150 duty exemption on 1 July 2026, that distance shows up in customs, delivery times and returns. Fulfilling from inside Italy removes it.
Why the distance costs more now
PrestaShop's strongest markets are in Southern Europe, Italy included, so a PrestaShop store often already ships a meaningful share of its orders there, even when its own warehouse sits somewhere else. If that warehouse is outside the EU, the distance now costs more directly: the EU removed the €150 duty exemption on 1 July 2026, so parcels that used to clear free of customs duty no longer do. And wherever the warehouse sits, shipping into Italy from outside the country still means longer delivery times and returns that have to cross a border to come back.

Part of the Startup tier
PrestaShop is one of three native integrations built for the Startup tier, alongside Shopify and WooCommerce; a store picks the one it already sells on. The tier is built for smaller items and a limited number of SKUs, with one standard shipping rate covering all of Italy, minor islands and remote areas included, delivery to pick-up points as standard and home delivery optional, and dedicated customer service. There are no setup fees, and volume thresholds are deliberately low, though not zero.
